II NATIONAL SEISMOLOGICAL CENTER

Data is provided in binary or ASCII file.

Binary file corresponds to Kimetrics EVT file (Typically Basalt).

ASCII file is divided in three files per record. Two horizontal and on vertical component.

Data name of files corresponds to date time separated by dots followed by station name and

component.

In each ASCII file we find six lines initiate by #, Figure 2

Line 1. Origen Time

Line 2. Samples per second (200 sps typical)

Line 3. Total number of samples

Line 4. Station Name. and Component (HNE, HNN and HNZ)

Line 5. Latitude – Longitude

Line 6. Unit (typical m/s/s)
